In April 2015, Lisa was awarded the Saskatchewan Country Music Association (SCMA) “Rising Star” Award. It was truly an honor as this award is voted by other Sask. Music Industry individuals. She also won “2015 Planet S Magazine’s Best New Music Act!”

In January 2015, Lisa released her first music video for her debut original single “Silly Boys Trucks Are For Girls”. This original song was the #1 downloaded song on Canadian Radio the day it was released in 2014, and Lisa’s first Radio release single that she personally wrote (She had 6 previous radio releases with her former band, BULLRUSH that had all seen success on the Canadian Media Base Charts). The video was filmed in Saskatoon by Five Stones Films, a Saskatchewan film company. She also had a Canada wide promotion for real Canadian girls to send her pictures of themselves with their trucks to be featured in her video. The video was showcased on all Lisa’s social media and to date has received thousands of views.

She released her 2nd original song to Canadian Country radio “Test Drive” in March 2015. Test Drive was the #5 top downloaded song on Canadian Country radio on the day of release nationwide. Test Drive was also released on iTunes. She is very happy and grateful for all the support of these first couple songs she has wrote and released to Canadian Radio.

Lisa loves to perform with her band FULL THROTTLE. Her bandmates are polished professionals and she is so grateful to have some of Saskatchewan’s best talent on board with her on this journey. Quincy Bosovich (Electric Cattle Co.), Myles Myrol (The Myrol Brothers), Garth Howell (Longshot). In 2015 she has performed at Hank’s Tavern (SCMA 2015 Nightclub of the Year winner), Solar Gardens Concert Series, Outlaws Country Rock Bar Cabaret, Saskatoon Optimist Club Canada Day, Longbranch Good Times Beverage Co, Sheho Rodeo Cabaret, Carlton Trail Jamboree and headlined the Nipawin Fair/Exhibition Grandstand. She also performed at the CMAS (Country Music Association of Saskatoon ) Acoustic Showcase and at the SCMA (Saskatchewan Country Music Association) 2015 Industry Awards Show. A highlight this year was performing on the Main Stage at Craven Country Jamboree. Lisa also had three performances in the Beer Gardens, and performed acoustically at two Songwriters Circle Showcases at Craven. As a performer that writes her own songs this is a rewarding experience.

Being a Singer/Songwriter and Country Artist allows Lisa to give back to the community. She was honored to be chosen for a 45 minute televised Saskatchewan Telemiracle performance last March 2015 and performed at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway “Race for the Cure” Cancer fundraiser that raised over $18 500. Lisa also performed and was involved in fundraising campaigns for a Saskatoon refugee family from Burundi, Africa, and Radio personality Sharron Jacobs’ of CJWW Cancer fundraiser. In Dec 2015, she performed at the 3rd Annual Country Christmas, raising funds for the Saskatoon Crisis Nursery.

Another highlight for Lisa this year was being the June Cover Story for Saskatchewan ‘sWoman Entrepreneur Magazine called “Pink Magazine”. The article was called “Lisa Moen On Music and Motherhood” and was a complete four page interview and picture spread. She was proud to share her story on growing up in Saskatchewan with big dreams of being a Country Singer. As well as balancing / running her music business personally ( as an Indie Act) and a proud mother of a two year old girl and four year old boy.

She was fortunate this year to be involved in many radio interviews some of them include live with Reg Wilke on Pickin’ It Country radio show and the taping of Made in Canada with Jay Richards. She also had the opportunity to be interviewed and perform on CTV Live promoting her original single “TEST DRIVE” as well as having an episode featured on the Timberline Music Show (SCMA award winning program) with Larry Krause.

Lisa was officially invited to perform at the “Artists On Board” Music Showcase at Canadian Country Music Week on Sept 11, 2015 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As well as 3 Sask MUSIC Showcases. With the funding support of Creative Saskatchewan and the Country Music Association of Saskatoon, she was able to travel and represent Saskatchewan, sing her originals and network with Canadian Industry Professionals. It was a great experience for her to take in all the Canadian Country Music Awards weekend festivities.

In Fall 2015 Lisa launched her very own Clothing Line called PrairieDoll Clothing. She has always been a Prairie Girl at heart, and wanted to bring her style to her clothes and merchandise. She also carries merch for her band FULL THROTTLE. PrairieDoll is strong and bold, girlie and fun! Lisa loves fashion and any aspect of creativity. She has mens and womens shirts, women’s tanktops and PrairieDoll hats! She is excited to share her PrairieDoll Clothing Fashions, and is adding new items to her line very soon!

This Outlook, Saskatchewan girl has been performing professionally for over 10 years. She has opened for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Neil McCoy, Trooper. Performed at the Canadian Country Music Awards Rockin’ Country Cabaret in 2012. She has had 8 singles on Country Radio , 2 of which she wrote and had immediate success across Canada. Lisa and her band FULL THROTTLE are professional, fun, high-energy and polished. They love to have fun with the crowd and give them a memorable experience watching the show. They offer full production (gear- lights and sound) for their shows. Full Band Shows or Acoustic Shows are available for your event.
